CTCM John A. E. Wright USN

January 12, 2008

Master Chief Wright retired after 30 years of service to his country. the retirement ceremony took place NS Everett. His last Command was IBU 11 it was also the day that his unit was decommissioned  --- very fitting!!!

The Featured speaker was Rear Admiral (Ret) Marke R. Shelly the commanding officer the Master Chief's first ship (USS Fife DD-991) when he joined the Naval Reserve as an EM2. Their paths would cross many times as John Wright steadily move up the ranks until he made Master Chief.
