Tahoma National Cemetery

In April of 2010 we were at Tahoma to say good by to one of our PBR shipmates Steve Wilber and one of our Swiftboat shipmates conducted the service --- Joe Lavoie.

Joe conducts almost every Navy service at Tahoma and he explained that the navy only provides a flag folder and holder. He cares very much about our veterans and feels they deserve better. 

He asked our Gamewardens sailors if they could be honor guards for his services.

The four Gamewardens NWC sailors in the above photo have volunteered for many services since that day.

I have only made a few services because I live farther away but Joe is grateful for any help and would like to see more of our sailors volunteering.
