 I was born in Detroit Mich , jan. 45. Son of a career Army office. Have an older brother, 2 younger sisters.  Lived in Japan, Austria, Germany, Formosa, most of the United States. Graduated in San Rafael Calif. Boot camp in San Diego. Radioman A school. U.S.S  Buck (DD-761) first duty station. West Pac in 66. Put in for swift boats. Got Mobile Riverine Force. Coronado, Whidbey Island, Mare Island. Mekong Delta.  Served on Charlie -91-1.  Command Communication boat.  Then got a  Alpha- 91 7. Truly enjoyed the Alpha boat.  Served from Canto to the Plain of Reeds, Ben Tra to Sa Dec. Snoopies Nose to Vaung Tao. Wounded twice in 68.

   Came home to the U.S.S. Wiltsie (DD-716) and the to the U.S.S. Morton (DD-948). Out at T.I. in July 69.

Married to Susanne Weston. Three sons, 7 grandkids.

  Retired truck driver and U.S. Postal Mechanic. Live in Roseburg, Oregon. Enjoy Corvettes,  Shooting, Golf and Fishing.
